Chip Hawk

Dienstag, 30. März 2010

Chip Hawks integrate variant finance chip sensory signal transmission implants with a DNA altered avian frame. The design paves the way for affordable biogenetic aerial reconnaissance and surveillance in a supplementary role to traditional assets.

The Chip Hawk’s implants record up to 25 hours of visual footage in brilliant raptor clarity. The recordings can be retrieved once the Hawk is back on the ground via a spinal bio-chippy socket. The act of retrieval clears the integrated memory for the next flight. Chip Hawk implants are incapable of remote transmission.

A Chip Hawk costs 1300c.

Environmental Cooling Generator

Sonntag, 28. März 2010

These units present a less restrictive alternative to the ever present coolant suits forced upon Wraith Raiders in non-arctic environments. The disk shaped generator can be worn strapped to the small of the back or, less commonly, the hip, shoulder, or other locations. Air is cycled into the unit via low rate intakes, then frozen, and ducted out again, creating a local cold temperature zone directly around the wearer.

The generator runs off an internal energy supply with 1000 hours of guaranteed user life and can be hooked up to an external power source such as an armour cell or vehicle reactor.

An environmental cooling generator weights 2 kg.

Green Systems sells the generator units including detachable strap harness and energy link for 40c.

FFB Trainingsuit

Samstag, 13. März 2010

FFB suits are training devices favoured by practitioners of some types of callisthenics and students of certain Shaktarian martial arts. An FFB suit is powered by a 1000 hour internal energy source which also drives its dual chippy ports and data drive.

FFB suits are available in over 200 different colours and designs, costing 12c.

CR1 Jointbag

Mittwoch, 23. September 2009

Just as in all structures, the points of articulation are the major weak spots of any powered armour no matter how advanced. This goes beyond combat damage and also includes normal stresses and especially fouling due to environmental conditions. It is the latter against which CR1 Jointbags provide superior added protection. Made from light flexible ballistic foil, the CR1 fits over major joints of the armour like a sleeve and is cinched tight on both ends with an integrated thermal memory strip, completely isolating the joint from particles, fluids, or microbes.

A set of four CR1 Jointbags costs 1c.

Murder Pellet

Donnerstag, 17. September 2009

The Murder Pellet is a devious little assassination and suicide device. The small hard sphere, barely more than two millimetres in diameter, is composed of a memory plastic compound that reacts to enzymes in saliva. Once inserted into the mouth it increases in size by orders of magnitudes, absorbing water and swelling until it completely fills the oral cavity and pharynx, blocking the upper airways and often breaking the jaws in the process.

The whole transformation takes just seconds, leaving practically no time to get rid of the murderous little thing before it is too late. The only way to prevent asphyxiation afterwards is an immediate tracheotomy, as it is neigh impossible to remove the Murder Pellet once it has grown and lodged in place.

Murder Pellets are taste- and odourless. They are of a milky off-white colour but can easily be treated with common food colouring.

A Murder Pellet costs 35c.

Thermal Bodypaint

Mittwoch, 16. September 2009
