June Riverbug

Montag, 29. März 2010

June’s Riverbug is a compact hover vehicle optimised for use over wetlands and bodies of water. Its elegantly rounded exterior promises a smooth ride, a promise kept by its flush multi-fans and 8000 hours reactor.

A Riverbug costs 4100c.

Kitten Executive Helicopter

Dienstag, 6. Oktober 2009

The Kitten speedily flies up to six passengers to their destination in exquisite style and comfort. A junior staff member or a second crewman can ride in the two-seater cockpit with the pilot.

The 8000 hours reactor and turbines are selected for their exceptionally smooth flight characteristics, as is the secondary autorotation of the contra-rotating rotors. Owing to the cutthroat nature of business the Kitten is also armoured to a high degree.

Kittens cost 905000c.

DN Bomb-Train

Samstag, 3. Oktober 2009

The bomb-train is a reinforced high-speed gauss train tightly packed with explosives.

DarkNight used these to devastating effect in a series of terror raids on infrastructure and industrial targets in and around Mort and is believed to keep several fully equipped units as part of a strategic reserve for future attacks.

The Department of Transportation offers a substantial reward to any party who can provide information which leads to the capture or destruction of bomb-trains or their construction sites.

Roamer 3 Gauss-Sled

Freitag, 2. Oktober 2009

The Roamer 3 is a four man armoured gauss-sled for use on standard gauss train lines.

The sled approaches speeds of 2000 kilometres an hour, allowing for rapid transit without recourse to scheduled trains or fixed stations.

A lone driver can fully operate the vehicle, whose high output reactor can launch it from a full halt without external acceleration boosters and provides power for 10000 hours of operation.

Up to three passengers are seated two by two together with the driver with each occupant having his own sliding side door for entering and exiting the sled.

The Roamer 3 costs 38100c.

Leguan 400 Sedan

Dienstag, 15. September 2009

A mid-size sedan from SLA Industries’ Leguan subsidiary, the 400 uses a highly efficient slow fusion reactor with 10000 hours of guaranteed user life to power its smooth running quad-axle drive train.

A Leguan 400 costs 2800c.

Type Car Max Speed 240 km/h Skill Drive, Civilian PV/ID 5/70 Max Crew/Passengers 1/4

Juju Train

Freitag, 4. September 2009

The Juju is meant as a low cost alternative to the gauss powered hypersonic long distance bullet trains used on Mort and other planets of the World of Progress.

Coasting along at just over 900 kilometres an hour, it is powered by a 55000 hour internal reactor. The gauss accelerators and boosters are energised from the Juju’s power supply via reverse feeds instead of drawing energy from power stations, keeping running costs and infrastructure maintenance down.

An independent Juju wagon costs 346000c.

Type Train Max Speed 905 km/h Skill Drive, Military PV/ID 8/700 Max Crew/Passengers 1/392

Electric Dragon

Freitag, 21. August 2009

The Electric Dragon is a high speed plane straight out of FEN’s aircraft division.

Literally built around three huge plasma jet turbines, the Electric Dragon has an unusually heavy body for such a high performance craft. The substantial reinforcement is necessary, though, to prevent the plane from tearing itself apart with the engines roaring at full power.

Instead of saving on the structure, weight has been kept down by cutting back on the reactor lifetime, with a mere 100 hours of power before shutdown.

The one man Electric Dragon costs 2013000c.

Type Plane Max Speed 5950 km/h Skill Pilot, Military PV/ID 20/700 Max Crew/Passengers 1/0

Hector-M/R

Montag, 17. August 2009

The Hector Missile/Rocket is a mobile launch platform based on the Hector.

It can carry five guided missiles or up to twenty dumb-fire rockets in separate launch tubes installed on the rear decking. Additional munitions may be transported within the Hector, in the rear compartment which also houses the gunner’s position. No others weapons besides the battery of launch tubes are carried.

The Hector-M/R can bring tremendous firepower to bear on enemy positions, while maintaining superb speed and manoeuvrability. This is paid for with long reload times and low number of munitions carried limiting its staying power. If deployed correctly, that is, as part of a hard hitting fast assault force, the trade-off is more than worth it, though. The Hector-M/R lacks viable applications outside of military formations.

The 20000 hour reactor is standard for Hector vehicles.

A new Hector-M/R costs 98000c.

Type Tank Max Speed 205 km/h Skill Drive, Military PV/ID 22/520 Max Crew/Passengers 3/0

Hector-MA

Sonntag, 16. August 2009

The Hector Mobile Artillery is a self propelled gun variant of BLA’s successful Hector design.

Unconventional for an artillery vehicle, the Hector-MA mounts two guns on an automated rear turret. The gunner’s position is located within the vehicle’s body. Some armour, and the defensive ball turret have been stripped out, to save weight and room to accommodate ample ammunition for sustained fire missions, while preserving the Hector’s good mobility.

The standard 20000 hour reactor of the Hector also powers the Mobile Artillery variant.

The Hector-MA lends artillery support from close to the front, with the dual gun arrangement and automation allowing for a high volume of fire with a small number of vehicles. This can be especially beneficial in the cramped condition of urban war zones, where the Hector is traditionally deployed. Like the other heavily armed variants, the Hector-MA is a pure military vehicle.

A new Hector-MA costs 165000c.

Game Use:

Type Tank Max Speed 185 km/h Skill Drive, Military PV/ID 22/540 Max Crew/Passengers 3/0

Hector-S

Samstag, 15. August 2009

The Hector Support is another variant of the Hector six-wheeled combat vehicle.

The vehicle features light structural reinforcement to the front hull, with the automated defence turret being absent. The back of the Hector-S is open topped, with a heavy gun shield and emplacement for a forward-facing heavy direct-fire cannon and ammunition storage. The standard crew of two is reinforced by a gun crew riding in the back, and consisting of a gunner and an assistant gunner/loader.

The Hector-S uses the same 20000 hour reactor as its siblings.

In urban combat situations the Hector-S is to use its cannon to soften up enemy strong points for infantry to open a breach, or to anchor a defensive position. Non-military customers obviously have only a limited interest in an assault gun carrier such as this.

A new Hector-S costs 100000c.

Type Tank Max Speed 195 km/h Skill Drive, Military PV/ID 24/600 Max Crew/Passengers 4/0
