GA Slim Saw

The Slim Saw is a compact squad support weapon specifically designed with urban combat in mind.

The ceramic barrel has been greatly reduced in length compared to other heavy automatic weapons and the telescoping shoulder stock further reduces overall weapon length.

The weight, too, is phenomenally low at just 5.5 kg. To help manage recoil despite this lack of mass, a fair amount of gas is bled off and vented from ports surrounding the muzzle.

40 full sized 10mm calibre rifle rounds are stored in an underslung magazine running the length of the barrel and doubling as a forward hand guard.

The Slim Saw can be fitted with additional recoil compensation, laser painting units and scopes. Its special barrel design does not allow the installation of silencers or flash suppressors.

A Slim Saw costs 1295c.

Armour Selfdestruct

In many low intensity conflict zones a main concern of the security apparatus is the capture of advanced combat equipment by opposing forces. Self destruct systems for powered armour, such as the Sigma Seven by GA, are one way to counter this threat.

On a preset signal, such as remote control, voice command, cessation of life signals detected by medical monitoring equipment, or a dead man’s trigger, the system will overload and burn out armour control systems, power generation and distribution, and main motive components, leaving the suit useless beyond the basic structure and external plating.

The Sigma Seven draws energy from the armour and is networked into all integral systems. It is also provided with its own separate chippyport for splicing in an additional trigger system not integral to the suit.

Sigma Seven armour self destruct systems can be retrofitted to most standard SLA Industries power armours at a price of 60c.

Rocket Shells

Chambered for 10 gauge shotguns, these shells encase miniature rockets, which ignite upon leaving the barrel. They significantly improve range, with only a small trade-off in stopping power from a standard slug.

Guru

The order for the Guru class ambulance came directly from Karma’s LAD division. With the inherent limitations placed on air mobility in the most heavily built-up sectors of Mort there was a definite need for LAD capable ground vehicles. For a time, the specialists in biogenetic resurrection used up-graded standard ambulances and converted APCs, but this could only be a stand-in until some form of optimised purpose-built vehicle became available. The Guru is that vehicle.

The back of the ambulance holds a fully equipped gyro-stabilised LAD emergency theatre for stabilising the patient and preparing or initialising any procedures necessary for his reconstruction.

To get the patient as fast and as save as possible to the next facility, the Guru is not only equipped with a powerful 8000 hour fusion drive but also with a reinforced composite chassis and laminated ceramic armour.

The listed cost of the Guru is 160000c.

GA13
