Environmental Cooling Generator

Sonntag, 28. März 2010

These units present a less restrictive alternative to the ever present coolant suits forced upon Wraith Raiders in non-arctic environments. The disk shaped generator can be worn strapped to the small of the back or, less commonly, the hip, shoulder, or other locations. Air is cycled into the unit via low rate intakes, then frozen, and ducted out again, creating a local cold temperature zone directly around the wearer.

The generator runs off an internal energy supply with 1000 hours of guaranteed user life and can be hooked up to an external power source such as an armour cell or vehicle reactor.

An environmental cooling generator weights 2 kg.

Green Systems sells the generator units including detachable strap harness and energy link for 40c.

Polytherm Suit

Samstag, 7. März 2009

Polytherm Suits are used to assist in regulating the wearer’s body temperature in unfavourable conditions. The special insulating fabrics help to keep the wearer warm in cold environments, and equally keep him or her cool in cold surroundings.

A Polytherm Suit is a flexible one-piece garment with long leggings and sleeves. It does not cover the wearer’s hands, feet or head.

Polytherm Suits cost 23c regardless of size. They are manufactured under the Racial Equality Program.

Rescue Vest

Mittwoch, 24. Dezember 2008

Despite its obvious benefits in regards to protection, durability and mobility powered armour does have some distinctive drawbacks. One of the most obvious is its negative buoyancy, not only on ships and in marine facilities, but also in cities like Mort with their sprawling networks of sewers and reservoirs which form important links in the urban civilian and defensive infrastructure. Green Systems addresses this problem for the first time with their rescue vest design for power armours. The large vest has all the properties you would expect from a high-tech rescue and swimming vest, scaled up for use with powered armour. The flexible vest is adjustable to fit with and over all manner of different armour types. It comes in a variety of colours ranging from classic bright reds and oranges, to unobtrusive greys, off-whites and black, to different marine, urban and industrial camouflage patterns.

Rescue vests are sold for 85c.
